FAQs

how long will i be in therapy?

1

Therapy sessions are typically 45-53 minutes long unless otherwise agreed upon. Clients typically meet on a weekly or bi weekly basis depending on the client’s needs and availability. The length of time engaged in therapy will vary greatly depending on the individual client’s circumstances. We will determine this together depending on different factors.

What are the benefits of not using my insurance for therapy?

By not accepting insurance, this is what treatment can look like for you:

A Safe, Compassionate Space: No insurance company is involved in your healing journey. We can work at a pace that feels right for you, whether that means taking things slow or diving deeper when you're ready.

You Control the Process: This is your therapy. You decide how we work together, how long we meet, and what issues we focus on, without anyone telling us what is "covered."

Complete Confidentiality: The details of your life and trauma are yours alone to share. You don’t have to worry about your history being sent to an insurance company or a third party. It’s just between you and me.

Tailored Support: Complex trauma needs more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Without insurance restrictions, I can offer the kind of therapy that is most beneficial for you, at the pace you need.

I truly believe that when it comes to healing from trauma, you deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and patience. Insurance companies simply do not have the flexibility to provide that. So, while it may feel like a leap to pay out-of-pocket, the truth is, it allows us to work in a way that is entirely about your needs.

In the end, this is your journey, and I am here to walk alongside you. No red tape, no limits, just the space to heal and grow at your own pace.
